Dating website for blind people Real sexy chat online
Anytime you have some limitation and you're worried by the limitations that others will perceive you as having, try to make the other person know that you're comfortable talking casually about it by using some humor and not dwelling on it nor turing it into a serious conversation.
I think most people are afraid of what they don't understand and are also afraid of trying to understand it by talking about things they think will make another person self-conscious.
You want to BE a person first and foremost, and NOT be a HANDICAPPED PERSON.
Well I gave your profile the same focus I would a sighted person, then added the fact that you're blind.
I usually try to incorporate some humor about it too so people know it's no big deal.
Purebliss and straightedge, you both seem like good people. The only thing I can think of is maybe work more off line in person. I have in my profile letting people know that I can't see. Wow dude, I don't think I've ever seen a post like this.
You interpersed the points about being blind in between the the other things that you shared and it's like reading a game of dodgeball. I see your interests and I'd think Listing more would help.
I'd also like to know what my life would be like dating someone who's blind.
Hopefully you will all have fun meeting singles and try out this online dating thing... I have known some blind persons, and we had no problems, in a couple of instances, we liked each other very much, even; but that was when meeting in person, with it being obvious from the outset. Editing: Whoever helped you post your profile did a great job.
Remember that we are the largest free online dating service, so you will never have to pay a dime to meet your has no vision at all.... and as far as my profile goes, I've tryed to shorten it up.... It shows a real personality, all too often lacking in this venue, and the photos are gorgeous. You probably hear this a lot, but these shots really show it. I'm legally blind, but not blind, and am always scared about how people will judge me.
at times I find it hard to find a date on this website.... because some women are nervus of meeting a blind person for the first time. Being a fellow Texan, having a car here is pretty essential too, so I know people judge me for that, especially this site having the beyond-stupid "car" question (though I have bioptic glasses and should be on the road soon).
Good luck with everythingthank you for the comments, and no I'm not seeking atention, for those of you who think that.
I focus as far as what I like to do, like going to hardcore shows, I get in the pit, and I focus less on how I'm blind in my profile. I have many blind friends-- both single and married, met them through doing graphic design for over 20 years for blind and handicapped organizations, and Ialso raise guide dog puppies for Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
